About us
A small house that publishes other people's books
Founded in Swansea in 2009, working with authors throughout the United Kingdom and Europe. Four people, one printing partner network, and a very long list of finished books.
To become a published author you once had to persuade a publishing house to take a financial risk on you. That route still exists, and it still turns down a great many good writers — not because the work is unworthy, but because the sums are difficult and new names are a gamble.
Digital retail and print-on-demand changed the arithmetic. An author can now reach readers in eighty countries without a warehouse, an advance or a gatekeeper. What they still need is the craft that traditional publishing supplied: editing, design, typesetting, distribution and a plan for launch day.
That is the whole of our business. We sell work, not percentages. Your copyright never leaves you, your retail accounts stay in your name, and your royalties arrive from the retailer directly to you. We are simply the people who made the book good enough to earn them.
Sell work, not shares
We charge for hours and craft. We never take a cut of your royalties.
Say the honest thing
If your book needs a cheaper service than the one you asked for, we'll tell you.
Finish the job
A book isn't finished when the file is made. It's finished when readers can buy it.
