Accessibility statement

Last reviewed 1 July 2026. Books are for everybody, and so is the site that sells them.

Our commitment

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA across every page of this site. That means keyboard-operable navigation, visible focus states, text that reflows to 320px, colour contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body copy in both light and dark modes, and no content that relies on colour alone.

What we have done

The site uses semantic headings and landmarks, descriptive link text, alternative text on meaningful images, labelled form fields with inline error messages, and a light/dark toggle for readers sensitive to glare. Motion is kept minimal and respects reduced-motion preferences.

Known limitations

Some downloadable sample PDFs supplied by authors are not tagged for screen readers. We are re-tagging these and can supply an accessible alternative on request within two working days.

Accessible books

Accessibility matters in your book too. We produce EPUB 3 files with proper reading order, image descriptions and navigable tables of contents, and can quote for large-print paperbacks, dyslexia-friendly typesetting and audiobook production.

Reporting a barrier

If something on this site blocks you, email access@quillandmark.co.uk or call 029 2018 4420. Tell us the page and what happened. We reply within two working days and aim to fix confirmed issues within twenty.
