Legal Deposit Administration

The Legal Deposit Libraries Act 2003, handled.

£95per title

We produce, package, post and record the statutory copies due to the British Library and the five other legal deposit libraries of the UK and Ireland.

UK publishers are legally required to deposit a copy of every published title with the British Library, and to supply the five other deposit libraries on request through the Agency for the Legal Deposit Libraries.

It is not difficult, but it is fiddly, easy to forget, and the correspondence lands months later. We handle the whole cycle and send you the confirmations for your records.

Digital-only titles have their own deposit route, which we manage in the same way.
